Welcome to VulnVision. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our vulnerability scanning and security analysis services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing our website, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Service Description
VulnVision provides automated vulnerability scanning and security analysis services including:
- Network and web application security scanning
- Vulnerability identification and risk assessment
- Security reports and remediation recommendations
- Compliance checking and monitoring
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Only scan systems and applications that you own or have explicit permission to test
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not use our services for malicious purposes or unauthorized access
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Use our services in accordance with their intended purpose
4. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Scan systems you do not own or lack permission to test
- Use our services to conduct unauthorized penetration testing
- Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our systems
- Share or resell access to our services without authorization
- Use our services to violate any laws or third-party rights
- Interfere with or disrupt our services or infrastructure
5. Account Management
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in suspicious activity.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
6. Payment and Billing
Paid services are billed in advance on a subscription basis. You agree to pay all fees associated with your account. Refunds may be provided at our discretion in accordance with our refund policy.
We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice to existing customers.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect service availability.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services
- False positives or missed vulnerabilities in scan results
- Actions taken based on our security recommendations
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for our services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and materials provided through our services are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without permission.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to our services will cease.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will provide notice of material changes through our website or by email. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
